Stayed for a week before Christmas on B&B with 3 teenage sons. Very clean hotel friendly and helpful staff excellent breakfast and fantastic access to their beach just 2min walk on the level. Well situated for the old town which is out the door and across the road - having to turn down about 5 offers from taxi drivers on... more

Where to start!! Location: In old Sharm about 3 miles from Naima Bay for more nightlife. Fairly low key and quiet area, with restaurants & very good ones too! Plenty of bars and a mall and large souk. There is a fabulous and honest jewellers in the Tiran Centre, who sells lovely jewellery. The name is Michael Said Barsoum, upstairs.... more

Just got back (14 Dec 08) from a week at Iberotel for some Winter sun and a brief escape from the Christmas madness. Had a really great time and difficult to find any fault. Great weather 65f at 9:00am peaking to 80f by 1:00pm, but sun went down about 4:30pm and dark by 5:00pm. Room was excellent. Big, clean, comfortable.... more

We stayed at the Palace for a week at the end of November. There were many good things about it - the location was excellent (near airport and right on the beach), the room was big, there were several bars / restaurants on site and the weather was good too! We went all inclusive but I haven't yet figured out... more

We visited the I Palace Sharm el Sheikh in Nov 2008. The hotel was in a great position - on the beach and opposite a shopping/entertainment centre. Only 20 mins from the airport the I Palace was first drop on the transfer. The hotel had excellent public areas, nicely decorated and good quality fittings. The pool was excellent if a... more

Just returned from our 2 week all inclusive stay at the Iberotel Palace. We had a bad start due to the Thomson plane being delayed for 6 hours at Luton due to an oil leak, but at least they found it before we took off! Eventually arrived at Sharm late at night but got through customs very quickly and straight... more

We used TripAdvisor's various hotel reviews extensively in planning our first holiday in Sharm-El-Sheikh. Iberotel Palace was clearly in 'pole position' on the basis of reviews - and indeed on other research we'd undertaken on the internet. We booked online with Thomson, with our flight from Bristol operated by First Choice. We weren't to be disappointed with this hotel......it was... more

Just returned from a two week stay at the Iberotel Palace. Lovely hotel with its own beach and brilliant swimming pools. The rooms were of a good size and cleaned to a suitable standard. All the staff were very friendly and could not do enough for you. We were on an all inclusive break and the only bad point we... more
