Located directly on the Gulf of Mexico with an intimate beach and within walking distance of prime shops and attractions, Hyatt Key West Resort & Spa is a year-round resort housing 118 spacious rooms. Water activities abound, including parasailing, snorkeling and waverunning from the hotel’s marina and sunset cruises on the property’s private sailboat. An on-site StayFit@Hyatt exercise center, new Jala Spa facility, pool and private sunbathing beach provide additional recreation. Bicycle and scooter rentals are also available. The full-service restaurant, Nicola Seafood, offers indoor and outdoor dining overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, while ample meeting space, including an expansive banquet room, make the resort ideal for conferences and destination events. The Blue Mojito Pool Bar & Grill offers light bites, a variety of cocktails and beverages and the best sunset view in town. A $10 million renovation is wrapping up Fall 2007 and has brought a fresh and stylish, modern aesthetic to the resort’s classic Key West charm, transforming the property into a “tropical modern” experience through its elegant integration of architecture, interiors and landscapes. Soothing, luminous colors punctuated by bold detailing impart an intimate spa-like quality throughout, supported by organic materials such as porcelain, bamboo, glass tile and stone. Both private and public spaces across the resort have been transformed, including all 118 guestrooms, the lobby, the pool area with three all-new white-canvas spa cabanas and the newly dubbed Blue Mojito Pool Bar & Grill. The redesign has also introduced the all-new Jala Spa facility. more » « less

I loved the hotel, especially after staying at the horrible Casa Marina. The staff were super friendly, the service was efficient and the room was great. Only let-down is the beach, which is tiny and the rather high room rate, hence only 4 points. more

WE stayed 3 nights at the Hyatt resort including Christmas day and had a great stay. Hyatt has a special that gives you an adjoining room for half price, and the two rooms we got were spacious. The adults room had a sitting area and both rooms had a view of one of the ponds and a thin slice of... more

The hotel as a whole was excellent! Great view, good service amazing rooms! You will not go wrong here! However there was a very rude member of staff who worked on the front desk, we had trouble as our room backed onto the side of the homeless beach which had a large police pressence. They were a little noisy and... more

We picked the Hyatt this trip after my last trip's "ocean view" room at the Westin that turned out to be a "cruise ship view". We were not disappointed - our ocean front room had a fantastic view of the water, palm trees, sunsets from all windows. We also had two balconies. Things to be aware of - many of... more

Very nice stay at a great hotel. Recent renovations are very nice. We were greeted immediately by a very polite staff. We were given a personal tour of the hotel grounds by the concierge staff. All the staff called me by name during our entire stay. Hotel pool is very nice with comfortable chairs. Turtle pond was really neat. No... more

We just returned from one night at the Hyatt in Key West Florida. It is definitly not worth the price. The Hyatt room was very modern but not very relaxing. Our water view balcony was over the bar and parking lot and was very loud. Also, they have a parrot on the property that screams for hours during the day!... more

This is a great hotel. The location is perfect, within two blocks of Duval Street but away from the revelry. The rooms are well-appointed and modern but comfortable. The bathrooms are spacious and modern (shower only). The grounds are relaxing with a turtle pond, nice pool and hot tub. Dean, at the front desk, was extremely helpful and inviting as... more

The Hyatt was amazing! The room was modern and comfortable. We loved the peaceful fountains and turtle pond. The pool was very nice. We enjoyed the whirlpool but it was too windy for the pool. It is located close to Duval Street so we walked everywhere. That was a big plus! The only negative thing that happened was a rude... more

We were in Key West in early October 2008 and really enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt. The location is great. Close to the action but quiet. While the hotel restaurant is currently under construction, there was no noise or disruption and a smaller version of the restaurant was open (but we didn't try it). One note, the staff of... more

I was at the Hyatt Key West Resort for Fantasy Fest 2008 for 5 nights. It was close to all the action on Duval Street, while being just far enough away so that when we wanted some quiet time, we could enjoy this wonderful resort. The staff was outstanding, from the front desk to the pool staff to the cleaning... more
